Travel Vaccinations (Prescription charges will apply)

North Swindon Practice does not run a private travel vaccination service; this information is for our registered patients only. Certain travel vaccinations may be available on the NHS.

  • The NHS provides some, but not all, vaccinations for people travelling abroad. Those vaccines which are usually provided free of charge (subject to a prescription charge) by the NHS for travel abroad are:
  • Typhoid
  • Diphtheria, Tetanus and Poliomyelitis
  • Hepatitis A (including when combined with typhoid and hepatitis B)
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella)
    Cholera

If you are travelling abroad you need to seek advice on vaccinations a minimum of 6 weeks before your date of travel (preferably earlier).
